Kami Welker

Kami is a paralegal working primarily with Attorney Julia Reece in the areas of Trust Administration and Probate. Her role centers around supporting clients as they navigate the legal responsibilities that follow the loss of a loved one. Whether she’s preparing and filing legal documents or communicating with clients, Kami is committed to guiding others through complex and emotional moments with clarity and care.

With over five years of paralegal experience across various legal fields - including personal injury, foreclosures, and workers' compensation - Kami brings a broad skill set and a deep understanding of client needs. She earned her degree in Psychology with a minor in Sign Language from Wichita State University and went on to complete her paralegal studies at Johnson County Community College. Kami has always been driven to help people manage life’s more challenging seasons, and her work in Trust Administration and Probate allows her to do just that.

Outside of the office, Kami is a true crime podcast enthusiast who loves diving into thought-provoking topics. She also enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, especially when a little competition is involved! She lives in the Overland Park area with her husband, their son, and their dog, Millie. Kami loves spending quality time with her family, whether it’s teaching her son to read/use sign language or just enjoying a quiet evening.
