Kacie Mihalovich Doubet

Kacie serves as a Document Review Attorney, where she carefully reviews and analyzes legal documents to ensure they are accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. She identifies potential inconsistencies or areas that may require additional attention, helping ensure each document meets the appropriate legal standards before moving forward. Kacie’s strong attention to detail and knowledge of legal requirements contribute to the firm’s commitment to delivering thorough, accurate, and dependable legal work.

Kacie received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Missouri and later earned her law degree from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law. During law school, she was a member of the Association for Women Law Students and the Estate and Trust Society, where she further developed her interest in estate planning and related areas of law. She is licensed to practice law in both Kansas and Missouri. Prior to joining Stern & Mauck, Kacie worked as a paralegal and associate attorney in estate planning, gaining valuable experience helping clients prepare for their future and protect what matters most. Her education and professional experience provide her with a strong foundation in legal analysis and client service, which she brings to her work at the firm.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and hiking with her husband, especially exploring national parks. Some of their favorites include Mount Rainier, Glacier, Rocky Mountain, Great Smoky Mountains, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton National Parks. She also loves playing video games, catching a movie at the theater, baking sweet treats, and attending concerts—especially classic country music. In her free time, she enjoys browsing antique stores and making trips back to her hometown in Northeast Missouri to spend time with her family.
