Madeleine Ellis

Madeleine is a Legal Assistant who works closely with attorneys Marion Stern and Amanda Brauninger to support clients throughout the estate planning process. She serves as a primary point of contact for clients, assisting with scheduling, communication, and coordination with financial advisors to help ensure estate plans are properly funded. Madeleine also helps clients understand and navigate their legal documents during signing appointments. She is dedicated to providing organized, attentive, and compassionate service, helping each client feel supported and confident throughout their estate planning experience.

Madeleine attended the College of the Ozarks, where she studied Criminal Justice, Pre-Law and Corrections. Before moving to the Kansas City area, she worked as a Legal Assistant in the Branson area, gaining valuable experience in the legal field. Her education and prior experience have provided her with a strong foundation that she brings to her role at Stern & Mauck.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through swimming and running. She’s also a huge fan of live music and loves discovering local venues and attending concerts whenever she can. Singing and writing her own music are some of her favorite creative outlets and a meaningful part of her life outside of work.
